STILLNESS

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10

Be still…cease striving!!! Hard to do isn’t it when we’re waiting, searching, trying to “fix it”??? God doesn’t need me to fix it! In fact, He doesn’t need my help at all! He wants me to trust, obey, pray, listen, study….just depend fully on Him. When we feel like we can’t take another step, He will carry us!

I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. – Psalm 40:1-3,8

Be still…take time every day to thank God, worship God, exalt God & praise God…not only for all He has done for you, but also for who He is, all He has already done and all He is going to do!!! He is true & faithful!!!

  1. Amen! 😀 I too must leave alone and am learning. “Trust” is the thing I believe the Lord is working on me. God bless!

  3. It’s hard not to be the “fixer”. It helps to remember our fixes are usually temporary and soon need another repair. God’s fixing does it right and to last.

      1. Restoration is a journey taking us all to what the Lord intends us to be and it takes a lifetime. But He promises to complete it.
