  • Walking by Faith

But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

25Β The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen theΒ Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

28Β And Thomas answered and said unto him, MyΒ LordΒ and my God.

29Β Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

31Β But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:24-31

  • Be Not Soon Shaken

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2

And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Hebrews 12:27

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved. Phillipians 4:1

  • FOLLOWING JESUS

And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon Him to hear the word of God, He stood by the lake of Gennesaret, And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

And He entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that He would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

Now when He had left speaking, He said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them.

And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed Him.Luke 5:1-11

Trust and Obey, for there’s no other way, to be happy in Jesus, than to trust and obey. Then in fellowship sweet, we will sit at His feet…

  • Justified

1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

    And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9Β Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:1-9

  • Behold, He Cometh…

7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.Β

10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

    12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

    14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death.

  • GRACE

Unmerited favor, Undeserved, Unworthy….yet He chose to love me.

When I think about the Lord and ALL HE has done for me, I realize that I’ll never truly understand it.

What I want you to know is that HE loves you and gave His life so that you can live forever in heaven one day.

For God SO LOVED the world that HE GAVE His only begotten son that WHOSOEVER beliveth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world,, but that the world through Him might be saved.

    John 3:16-17

Has anyone ever shared Jesus with you? Has anyone ever told you you’re special to Him? If not, I’m telling you now. If so, and you have forgotten or questioned it, I am reminding you now.

It doesn’t matter what you’ve done, where you’ve been or where you are now…He is still right where you are just waiting for you to come to Him. He is only one prayer away.

Never give up, never give in, never get over what God has done for you!

With the Lord, there is always hope!

Hope for today, hope for tomorrow and hope for whatever wilderness you’re walking through, whatever mountain you are climbing and whatever baggage you are dragging along.

Lay it down at the feet of Jesus and leave it there. When you’re so tired you can’t take another step, He will carry you!

  • WONDER

    The wonder of salvation

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name. And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard. – Acts 4:12-13,17-20

For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but He that believeth not is condemned already, because He hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. – John 3:16-18

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; – Hebrews 2:3

  • UNFAILING

God’s unfailing love never ceases to amaze me!

Over and over and over I fail Him! Yet He keeps on loving me, showing me endless mercy and grace, and ever gently carries me when I feel like I can’t take another step!

The words from several old songs come to mind when I think about His unfailing love….”when I am down He picks me up, when I am dry you fill my cup”…”to write the love of God above would drain the oceans dry, nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky”

For God SO LOVED the world that HE GAVE His only begotten son that WHOSOEVER beliveth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world,, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:38-39

  • HELP

    Have you ever felt helpless?

During seasons of waiting, God is still ever present, ever near and ever faithful! He will carry us, even when we don’t understand! Even when things don’t make sense. Do not give up, give out or give in!

Ask God for help…Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me: Lord , be thou my helper. – Psalm 30:10

Believe God for help…Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. Mark 9:23-24

Do not doubt God will help…Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. – Hebrews 13:5-6

  • PEACE

Be still (cease striving) and know that I am God.

The past cannot be different from what has already occurred. Remember only what you can learn from it to be used for God’s glory. There is one place to make a new beginning and that is where you are right now.

Christ says your mistakes in life do not define you! He does!

No matter what “it” is, you can begin again!

Why do we turn to “empty” things to satisfy us, when only God can meet our needs?

Psalm 136 …for His Mercy Endureth Forever

God will never run out of love because His mercy flows from a well that will never run dry!

Watch and see what God can do!

“God brings us to a place where we’re still & quiet so we can hear Him, be near Him, listen to His heartbeat and survive only by leaning completely on Him” …Quote from Faith York

“He breaks us, so He can put us back together the way He wants to”….Another quote from Faith York that has surely been a blessing to me!

We cannot stand in the storms of life based on someone else’s faith!

Anything that makes us humble ourselves and often come back to our Lord is surely a blessing to us!

  • UNSHAKABLE!

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire. – Hebrews 12:24-29

What will be left? Things that cannot be shaken! Stand fast! Cling tightly to God, His precious priceless timeless word and stand fast with His precious people!

  • JOY

    Jesus

    Others

    Yourself

Psalm 30:5 His anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. -

Why do we get so focused on the things we don’t have or can’t change, allowing the enemy to steal our joy for Jesus?

This is the day which the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
  • Contentment

Pride results from overvaluing ourselves and undervaluing others.

Why do we get so focused on the things we cannot change, instead of living in the moment and enjoying all the blessings God has given us?

1 Timothy 6:6-8 But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

Let humility and trust affect your perspective and give you the strength and freedom to serve others. Have you ever tried to be a blessing to someone else and they ended up being a blessing to you?

The more I live, the more I realize how little I really know about contentment. We are so very blessed to live here in America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ the land of plenty where we have the freedom to worship God and tell others about Him! Lord please help me to be ever thankful and not take your blessings for granted!!!
